Thank you for registering for the Big Apple Symposium.
On behalf of the Big Apple Zone we would like to extend a warm welcome to the entire Sri Hemkunt Foundation family to our 34th. International Symposium and 19th Kirtan Darbar. This event’s main purpose is to bring together like-minded Sikh youths to come together in a friendly competition but more so, for them and their families to create everlasting bonds and reflect on our achievements and plan for the future.
I will like to take this opportunity to highlight some of the important aspects/ phases of the entire event to make your trip to the Big apple as smooth and pleasant as possible.
We had negotiated a special rate with Hilton hotel for so that four people could saty in room including full breakfast for four. The special deal expired on July 1, 2023. Repeated reminders were sent to book the hotel in time. You can book the room at current prevailing rates from their website – Hilton Hotel at Melviile NY.
Guests are responsible for transportation from and to the airport, and during your entire stay here. We have negotiated a discounted rate with Avis if you would like to rent a car. For more information regarding transportation for the Big Apple Symposium, please refer to the link on the website under the “Transportation” tab.
Parking at the Hilton hotel is free for everyone, even if you are not staying there.
In the Hospitality Room, there will be plenty of food and snacks in an informal setting between 8am. and 10pm.
The detailed schedule of the events will be posted in the hotel and the Hospitality Room. A copy of it will be given to you at the registration table. It is also on our website.
